AQR Vice President Addresses Derivatives Clearing Conference

AQR Associate General Counsel Boris Liberman was invited to discuss how to develop robust and efficient derivatives clearing infrastructure at a Risk magazine conference in New York on July 15.

Liberman, who oversees AQR’s trading documentation agreements across all trading instruments for all of firm’s clients around the globe, was part of a panel that also included the treasurer and head of derivatives at AXA U.S. and the former Enterprise Business Architecture lead at Northern Trust.

The panelists discussed how each counterparty in a transaction can reduce the cost of clearing their trade, manage operational risks and extend the longevity of partnerships.
