Roberto Giuffrida is a Principal and Head of EMEA and LatAm Business Development at AQR Capital Management. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing AQR’s relationships with institutional investors, global financial intermediaries, wealth and asset managers, and family office across EMEA and Latin America, while coordinating and managing the business development teams across such regions. Prior to AQR, Roberto was with Permal Group, where he was an Executive Vice President and Head of International Business Development. Prior to his 15-year tenure at Permal, Roberto oversaw sales in southern Europe and the Middle East for Scudder Threadneedle Investments. He began his career at Intercapital Brokers. Roberto earned a B.A. with honors in business and economics from the University of Rome.
