AQR is pleased to have been recognized as “Risk Parity Manager of the Year” at the Professional Pensions Investment Awards 2023 for its AQR Global Risk Premium Strategy. AQR was also shortlisted in two other categories – the “Quant Hedge Fund Manager of the Year” category for its AQR Alternative Trends Strategy, and the “Equity Multi Factor Solution Provider of the Year” category for its AQR ACWI Style Premia Long-Only Strategy.
The awards, now in their tenth year, recognize excellence among the asset managers across a broad range of specialties who serve UK workplace pension scheme. The winners were announced at a ceremony in London on November 23.
Category shortlists for the awards were created in association with Aon, an investment consultant, highlighting those asset managers who have demonstrated excellent performance on a one-year and three-year basis ending June 30, 2023. Shortlisted managers complete a submission detailing what makes them stand out from their peers in terms of both innovation, client service, sustainability, diversity and inclusion. The winners in each category are then decided by a distinguished panel of industry judges that includes pension fund chief investment officers, trustees and other key industry figures.
